I love days when we get to work on home improvement projects

The other day lord_kjar stopped by a second hand store, and while there spotted a good sized sturdy wooden box/chest that he thought looked useful, so it followed him home. Interesting way you're doing the sleeves. Can you tell me more about it? Thanks.

The sleeves are an experiment. The last two were more straightforward--simple rectangle for the arm, with a square underarm gore, a larger square gore at the wrist end and a small set of triangle gores inset into the middle of the wrist end of the sleeve rectangle.

This one will have two more sets of triangle gores in between the large wrist end square gore and the sleeve rectangle.

This description is ever so clear to me, who knows what I am talking about, but probably says nothing at all to anyone else. Therefore I will go try to draw a picture and add that to the album. If this works I will add a link here.

ok,I have finished the sketch of how the pieces come together. This drawing isn't properly to scale, but if you want to see it to scale, you can print the cutting diagram and cut that up and tape it together like this (and just add the extra skirt gores, which didn't get added to this sketch) to the sides or wherever they fit...)
