Back from four days in Seattle. In some order: I spent 2 days at a customer site, visited the troll, the greenhouse in volunteer park, stayed with S, K, and R, walked lots of places, and ate quite a lot of good food and a little very bad food.
To get to the greenhouse, S and I walked by one of the city reservoirs, which they were busy refilling from what looked like giant vertical rusty pipe with holes drilled in it. I haven't thought about how I'd fill a reservoir, but that wasn't what I expected. It was a fun but exhausting trip, and a good break from house work. Now back to my regularly scheduled obsessing about light switches and other such details.
