So I know the weather is a pretty boring topic, but it's just been so weird here lately. It's now the fifth day of Summer, and while Spring was ridiculously hot at times, so far it's not been bad at all. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's cold, but it's just not hot. For instance; today, and the later parts of yesterday, it has been storming. It was bright and sunny yesterday through the day (though not heaps hot), and then around 7:20pm it just started randomly pouring down raining. And for the rest of the night had been storming on and off. I was woken up early this morning to the sound of thunder, and it's been thundering ever since; though no rain. It just seems very odd, considering how hot Spring was, I just assumed we were in for a ridiculously hot Summer. Oh well, as long as it's warm again by next weekend, I don't mind. I'm sick of organising BBQ's at the beach only to wake up that day and find it windy and wet, despite the fact that every day for the month before it had been sunny and really hot. I really do have the worst luck.
Also speaking of weird weather, we've had about five floods just this year alone. And I don't just mean a little flooding.... we were declared a natural disaster zone. It might have even been more times, it was pretty hard to keep track. There were about three in just over a month. It was pretty ridiculous. Pretty good though because the uni was closed for a few days, so I got some time off. And then there was the freak "Dust Storm". I woke up, looked outside, and thought we were in some olden day photograph. You know the kind of photo that's not black and white, but kind of an ancient brown type colour? The dust made everything look like that, which was very strange. It was only upon remembering my mum telling me about all the dust when she came into my room that morning to tell me she was going to work, that I realised what it was.
Anyway, sorry for the boring weather talk. I don't really have much else to say.
