Lucky you...
Lucky lucky you, I am writing in my journal again!
I've not been writing lately because I've been spending all my time looking for a job, or other stuff that would help improve my chances of GETTING a job... but I don't feel like talking about that now.
I learned something interesting today... my friend, who is living in Taiwan for two years, has told me that when you hear that sound of tinny music-box music playing (pop goes the weasel, all around the mulberry bush, oh Susanna, you know the songs... the ones that let you know that the ICE CREAM MAN is finally here!) that, in fact, is NOT the ice cream man... and making that mistake could be extremely bad for your health... you wouldn't want to eat what this truck is carrying... in fact, that music is played by the GARBAGE man in Taiwan! So all the people know to come out and bring their garbage! I'd like to propose that OUR garbage men play music, only it should be HEAVY METAL! HAHAHA!
Another subject... I was listening to some talk radio station, and the woman speaking proposed an idea as to why the world seems to be over-run by WARish ideas... she said that MARS, the PLANET of war, is the closest that it has ever been in hundreds of thousands of years... and that just MIGHT have something to do with it! Hah, I think she was mostly kidding though...
One more thing... I am thinking about volunteering in some experiment, where they put you in an MRI machine and take pictures of your brain while you are performing some mental task... you don't get money for it, but you get a free MRI image of your brain! I sent for more information, and I'll find out from there...
