I know, it's been forever since I've posted again. My bad. School and working out, and my sister's wedding stuff have taken over, and other than that I don't really do anything exciting, so I've really had nothing to post. And unlike my sister, who has all these cutesy-2nd-graders-doing-adorable-things stories, my kids aren't cutesy. These seniors are a particular pain in the butt this year, taking senior pranks and doing things that aren't pranky. In the past week, they had a slip-and-slide and water balloons and guns in the main hallway (mildly funny until they broke out the baby oil, which just made the tile floor slick and dangerous), then some came one night and spray painted the trailers, the outside of the cafeteria, the sidewalks and other places (that's not a prank, that's vandalism,) and some enterprising young man urinated on the front doors. Then, this morning, there was cow manure all in front of the doors, driveway, and main walkway, and they had dug out the center of the football field, cut it in the shape of "09", and then filled it with concrete (again with the vandalism). Will these kids never learn! Pranks are supposed to be funny, not destructive. Take last year, when they chained the gates shut and we couldn't get out of the parking lot. Nothing was destroyed or damaged, and it was funny. As I said before, I've had enough of some of these seniors.
On another note, I've decided to try the low-carb thing. It's been months since I've lost weight, and I've been working out (I even got a trainer that I spend an obscene amount of money on), so I thought I'd try something different. And since most of my diet does normally consist of carbs, this is a big change. The most annoying thing is having to cook...no more heat and eat meals. And it's more expensive because I have to buy all these fresh veggies and meat. I'm also not sure about this no carbs for breakfast thing. I'm used to having cereal or a bagel every day, so I made eggs this morning, and I could only choke half of them down. We'll see how this works out. You're supposed to do this hard-core thing for two weeks, and then it gets better. though this lack of caffeine and no crystal light are driving me insane. I was feeling a little out of it today, and headachey, but that's supposed to pass. Again, we'll see if i can keep it up.
On a lighter note, yay about Dollhouse being renewed. But my netflix membership is going to be getting a workout now that new tv is mostly done.
