Drama!
God, my school is turning into such a hotbed of gossip and drama. Over the weekend, around 20 of our kids (a good number of which I have taught or am currently teaching), got arrested for underage drinking at a party. Including the aforementioned son of the head football coach (who had a little something to do with our very nice basketball coach leaving). This kid has also signed to play at GT next year. Whoops! First its teachers getting arrested, others getting fired for having affairs, and now its on to the students. All in one school year! Before the year is up, it's going to be a principal's turn. Oh wait, that was the high school I went to. So much drama, it's hard to keep it straight.
Not finished with my unit for my gifted class (that is due tomorrow night!) But I'll get as much done as I can during my planning. I just can't deal with it anymore!
Off to bed to await more drama tomorrow. I feel like our high school should be on that "High School Confidential" show.
