NUANCES OF HATE AND PITY: HOW MUCH DOES KARKAT WANT TO THRESHMURDER YOU?
OKAY. So once someone's had about 2-3 threads with Karkat, I'll go ahead and add them to the CR chart below. As their relationship potentially changes, I'll update the CR summary once the change is relatively significant.

This symbol denotes the troll equivalent to romantic love. While similar to human love, they aren't exactly the same.
__♠ BLACK SPADES_
This symbol denotes passionate, superblack hatred. This counts as one of the romantic quadrants for trolls, being ♥'s counterpart. IT MEANS KARKAT'S IN LOATHING WITH YOU and probably has the hatelust for you. gj being hatesexy.
__♠ GRAY SPADES_
This symbol denotes platonic hatred. While tamer than passionate black hate, rest assured, it is still a pretty deep hate. Probably Karkat's default placement for people.
__♦ DIAMONDS
This symbol denotes feelings of he troll disease known as FRIENDSHIP. It means Karkat likes you, though he'll probably never admit it.
__♣ CLUBS_
This symbol denotes indifference, which is a step above hatred. Either you haven't done anything to make Karkat hate you (and you don't really even have to do anything, so), or you've somehow redeemed yourself from his shitlist into a gray area! Yay!

Karkat doesn't really know what to think of Dr. Mcninja yet. He's masterful at trolling Karkat, which totally infuriates him because in turn, he seems kinda difficult to bother. Karkat also thinks he's kind of a retard. But now being educated on what a ninja is and all the badassedry that comes therein the title, his mind is kind of blown. He'll never admit it, but there's a grudging respect for that vicious and graceful brutality!! Not bad, for a human.

Vaultie infuriates Karkat. He's incredibly simple-minded and kind of embodies the narrow-mindedness in humans that Karkat really hates. In that regard, he finds Vaultie to be really inconsiderate and just. SO RUDE!!! And he recognizes that Vaultie's a nice guy, which rubs him the wrong way as well, since Karkat's MEAN MEAN MEAN and Vaultie deflects it all with simple optimism. He also hates Vaultie because he's human, yay racism. ...Vaultie also is increasingly reminding him of John. He hated him a little less before that.

BLUH BLUH HUGE TEXTWALL. Karkat and Sollux have always been really close (best) friends, even when Sollux had alienated all his other troll buds back home. Karkat's also always admired Sollux and thought he was a super cool genius-this has also always made him insecure, thus making him react like a petulant jerk. Despite always butting heads, Karkat is pretty much just about in brolove with Sollux. He still feels guilty about ignoring Sollux while he died back home, and he's always felt he wasn't good enough to be Sollux's friend. LATELY HE FEELS THAT MUCH HARDER. Karkat is also kind of blipping in and out of the private concept he might be Sollux's moirail, but he doesn't really think he's good enough, since Sollux is SO DANGEROUS-but aside from failing to get Sollux into the medium, Karkat has apparently saved his life a crapton. It's clear he has a desire to protect Sollux, but he's too embarrassed to make the proposition, since it IS a form of romance and thus a romantic partnership (even if without nuances of sexuality). Currently, Sollux and Karkat are living together, which is kind of weird to Karkat-but he's honestly a little freaked out by this whole Sacrosanct business, so he's allowing it. They're also currently occupied with the project of building themselves a hive in GardenZone 14.
