So, the results are in:
I am an Alternate and Bobby was Shortlisted (accepted). So, this means more waiting for us. My chances of being accepted depend on where my name is on the alternate list. The higher I am, the better my chances. I am not sure if I can get information on my position.
Our plan:
We are going to submit all of the necessary forms and wait it out. I could hear up until the beginning of October, but if I don't hear before Bobby would leave (end of July), we're not going. Based on his placement, I may be able to apply to a different position, but we won't hear back about that for a couple of weeks.
So, we're sort of in the worst possible situation right now. Everything is up in the air. I'll let you know if things change, but we won't hear anything for at least two weeks.
