What we know:
At least one series regular will die. The series regulars are as follows:
Nikita
Michael
Birkhoff
Alex
Sean
Percy
Amanda
Any number of recurring characters could die.
Going into the finale episodes (I think the last 2 episodes are going to head directly into each other like last seasons last 2 eps...just based off of Nikita's storyline sounding virtually the same for both eps in the synopsis) Michael and Nikita are heading to Division where Percy is, Sean and Alex are caught in an explosion/gun battle, Birkhoff is communicating with Sonya presumably over the computers from the safe house, and Ryan is meeting with the President.
Amanda will not be appearing again until the finale, but no word on where she'll show up or what her plotline will be, though presumabely it will have to do with the black box, and probably Ari will be there.
According to Ausiello, if season 3 happens Ryan will be promoted to series regular. (I'm not convinced this isn't a foiler, since I can't imagine needing Ryan that often, but it could be true)
Dillon said in an interview that someone is going to die and it's "not who you'd expect" and "you'll never see it coming" (note that this interview was a while ago and he may have been speaking about Madeline's death...it wasn't totally clear if he was speaking of the series regular death, and since I don't know I'm including it anyway)
Shane said at C2E2 that Michael wouldn't be as affected by the big death as other people.
My predictions.
I have no fucking clue, which is probably what they want. Nikita, Michael, and Alex are safe, of that I'm certain. I was sure it was going to be either Percy or Birkhoff for awhile, but Shane's answer at C2E2 has made me backtrack on that - Percy would be a huge deal to Michael, and I think he and Birkhoff are close enough he'd be pretty devastated by his death. Sean and Amanda seem to fit better, especially Sean, but there's always the possibility that Shane was trying to be cagey to not give anything away. I feel like it's maybe time for them to kill off at least one of their big villains - this show doesn't like to be stagnent, and constant back and forth with Percy has only so many ways it can go. I was really hoping it would be him, but now I'm not so sure. I really don't want to lose Amanda, and I think it would be weird to kill her the next time she shows up after Nikita sparing her was such a big deal, but that's still no guarantee. Sean is the most obvious "expendable" death, but I really, really like him, and I really, really like him and Alex together, and I don't want Alex's third love interest in 2 seasons to die/go away, both for her sake, and also because this is the CW and I don't think they'd let the writers get away with her being totally single in season 3 (if we get one) and I don't want to see yet another love interest for her. Birkhoff I could go either way on.
I think the most in danger recurring characters are Sonya and Roan. I desperately want Sonya to live and have a bigger part next season. I don't care either way about Roan.
