1. Nikita - Season 2 episodes 1 and 2
It's kind of sad how fast I've started shipping Alex/Sean. Like, it's not that he's the most awesome character or that I think they're soulmates or anything, but...here's the thing, I love romance. A lot. But I like my romance to be a sideplot to something more interesting. Nathan never worked for me because he was there entirely to be a love interest and had no other point. Sean has so many possibilities! And I love belligerent sexual tension, and she pulls his own gun on him the first time they meet, and then they have a tiny almost bonding moment at the end of episode two and....I'm just seeing a lot of possibilities that I like. I reserve the right to backtrack if they go down a road I disapprove of.
Nikita and Michael are so far the perfect mix of adorable and badass. They are clearly in a relationship and in love with each other, but they're not wasting a lot of time on sappiness. It's just working.
I hated Birkhoff last season. I love Birkhoff this season. He's lonely, and he missed them, so he saved them. Thank you.
Percy and Amanda are both intriguing the hell out of me. It's only a matter of time until someone eats someone else's face. All I'm saying.
I still miss Jaden, and I am still pissed at what they did to her, but I do think it would have been hard to fit her into this new dynamic with everyone else. Not impossible, and I'd still rather have her, but still...

EVERYTHING IS DOCTOR/RIVER AND NOTHING HURTS
They're married, y'all. I mean, I know it wasn't a super official ceremony, and anti River/Doctor fans are already saying it doesn't count because she married a robot (WHICH HE WAS INSIDE AND CONTROLLING BUT WHATEVER). But he refers to her as 'wife', and she calls herself his wife, and that's good enough for me.
RIVER IS THE DOCTOR'S WIFE AND SHE BROKE TIME FOR HIM AND AMY IS THE DOCTOR'S MOTHER IN LAW AND RORY AND AMY AND RIVER ARE AWESOME AND HAVE SITDOWNS IN THE BACKYARD AND AMY BUYS WINE AND I CAN'T EVEN WITH THIS FAMILY Y'ALL
There are still so many things that don't make sense, but Doctor Who is the rare show where I absolutely do not care whatsoever.
3. Merlin - Season 4 premier
On the shallow side - I love Gwen's new wardrobe and hair, and the knights are ridiculously pretty, especially Gwaine and his hair. WHY DOES PERCIVAL HAVE SLEEVELESS CHAINMAIL??
I have no sympathy for Uther (so sorry you're so sad - IMAGINE HOW ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE YOU KILLED FOR NO REASON FELT YOU ASSHAT), but I do feel bad for Arthur. He loves his dad, flaws and all, and it's hard to see someone you love so broken.
That Gwen/Arthur scene was so sweet. The chin touching, the smiling, the hugging. My bbs.
Already saw one person call Gwen out for being 'insensitive' to Lancelot. Yes, asking one of his personal knights to protect him. That bitch. How dare she. SHE DOES NOT OWE LANCELOT ANYTHING NEWSFLASH OMG HE HAD HIS CHANCE AND RAN AWAY AND SHE DIDN'T SEE HIM FOR OVER A YEAR AND HAS A (SECRET) BOYFRIEND
I hate hate hate how Morgana went from being good to being evil. It was rushed and unexplained and they wasted so much potential. That being said, I'm liking the new in charge, confident, powerful Morgana. We'll see if that lasts.
Don't care one way or another about the new uncle
I'm not a huge bromance person, but the knights are all rather adorable with each other, are they not? Well, the knights plus Merlin, naturally.
And finally, they made a big deal about switching to 35mm film so that everything looks more cinematic this season, but I have to say, I really noticed how much more cinematic the music is. It was awesome!
