Busy day!
1. Had to work 3 hrs this morning to make up for a doctors apt earlier in the week. Work sucks. I hate my job. But I'm getting chummy enough with my supervisors that at least I'm laughing occasionally at work.
2. I went to a Slut Walk! For those that don't know, Slut Walks are protest marches that started in response to a cop in Canada giving a safety seminar and saying that women shouldn't dress slutty if they don't want to be sexually assaulted. The Slut Walk movement opposes victim blaming and seeks to reclaim the word slut (I'm a little iffy on that part of it myself, but the overall movement is a good thing and that matters more to me). It's become an international movement.

It was a fabulous march, with a decent response considering where in Nebraska (during the march, at least...we'll see what the media does with it). Being part of a University city has it's benefits.
The one bad thing? I forgot the sunscreen. I look like a lobster. But at least I'm not pasty white.
3. Doctor Who.
I have so many feelings! Rory punching Hitler! Rory putting Hitler in the closet! Early Timestream River! Who is all kinds of adorable and hilarious and flirty! I just...her and Eleven are too adorable. I really love the idea of Melody growing up with Rory and Amy. That reveal was nicely done. I'm not to quick on the uptake, so I didn't pick up on Mels/Melody until she said her parents were both there. I have so many feelings and not a lot of thought yet.
First time doing lj cut since they changed the rich text editor. Apparently doing a cut now automatically makes things centered? And you have to undo it? Stupid.
