I can haz chair?

Today started out sucking (work was, somehow, even more awful and boring than usual), and looked like it was going to get more sucky (dentist for a filling), and then took a positive turn.  First, the tooth they were working on was on the top, not the bottom like I thought, so my tongue did not go numb, which is always a plus.  Then, he was really really careful with how he did the numbing so my lip didn't even go numb (the muscles relaxed so I still felt like a stroke victim, but at least I could feel it).  And then, when I was done, I went to my favorite thrift store in Seward that I always go to when I'm in town to scrounge for fabric scraps and got a whole bunch of stuff for under $20.  And then.  AND THEN!  My mom told me to check out this chair she'd seen there, because she knows I've been wanting to replace my shitty chair for awhile.

MY NEW CHAIR IS AWESOME!

And by that I mean used, old, small, and ugly 70s brown, but it's also stain free, tear free, odor free, rocks, swivles, and is comfortable.  None of which my old, floral, greasy-from-my-brother-when-it-was-his chair that my dad just hauled off were.  Oh, and it was half price.  So I only spent $15 instead of $30.  I love thrift store shopping.  And I also got this huge ottoman which Vala has already claimed as her throne.

Now I really have to rearrange my apt.  The flow is ALL OFF with only one chair instead of two (dad also hauled off the ugly pink chair I used to pile shit up on until I was too embarrassed and finally had to clean it).  I suppose that means I should clean it first.
