This is a very important problem, for reals
So...I have to cast original characters in my head. I have to. I have to be able to 'see' things to write them, and I've never been any good at just making people up. So I cast them. No big deal, right?
Well, I've been trying to figure out who to cast for this one character, sort of the main male character in this story I'm writing. And I was having a hard time with it. And then Jason Momoa popped into my head, and now I can't get him out. The problem? It makes absolutely no sense for this character to have a physique like Jason's. At all. He's not necessarily supposed to be flabby or without any muscle, but at most he should be the type of muscular where you'd never know it unless you saw him with his shirt off (without giving too much away, he's a character who's been very sheltered and protected his whole life because of a...condition...and I'll say no more than that). And no, trying to picture Jason but with less muscles didn't work either.
So now I'm torn between trying to come up with a logical reason for this character to be super ripped (which is probably not a good way to write a story, lol) and finding someone else who will stick in my head more than Jason.
