It feels like a Monday
1. This makes me happy and I'm just going to keep staring at it as often as I need to to get through the day, because I otherwise feel pretty crappy.
Has anyone come up with a not OOC, character assassinating explanation for Hobbes leaving? I mean, if this had been season 1, sure, but...if they wanted us to believe Hobbes was still a heartless bastard with no loyalties, who didn't care about his comrades, who hadn't gone through any character growth, then someone should have told Charles Mesure that, because that sure as hell isn't how he's been playing Hobbes.
2. Cold is still sucky, but progressing relatively fast. I think I may be back at top speed by the end of the week. Or I would have been, if I hadn't just jinxed the hell out of myself.
3. Every time I think about it I think of one more thing that I screwed up or could have done better on the resumes I've sent out. Like accidentally sending some from my karate kat email instead of my more professional sounding one. God, I can't believe I did that. That was the entire point of getting a second damn email.
4. In the grand tradition of procrastinators everywhere, I have a lot of writing to do for my postmodernism class that I have yet to start/finish. I have to have 5 discussion posts online, 2 of which are done. And I have to write a 3 page essay, referencing at least one reading from the semester, none of which I've actually read. But if I can survive today without any panic attacks, I think I can make it through the next week (spring break, not that I'm actually getting a break).
