Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays everyone!

Now, to the important part*.  The loot.

Parents: Sewing machine and carrier (very helpful since I've started sewing on my canvases)
Mom: Pajama set that I will never wear together but the parts individually aren't bad, plus those time travel books she's been trying to get me to read (I think it's the same ones greycoupon was reading?)
Grandparents: Check (nothing wrong with that!)
Aunt/Uncle: Coffee/mugs, makeup, post its.  Their gifts usually consist of 'whatever was in the drawer that we weren't using', so pretty on spot with tradition.
Everyone else: Cards.

Oh, and candy in my stocking, including these, which were always a favorite in the family, which we can't get locally anymore, so mom actually ordered a bunch online.

We went to church last night.  You know, even though I don't go to church regularly anymore, there's something about church on the holidays that I still love.  Possibly because the children's Christmas Eve service doesn't involve a sermon at all, just kids attempting to recite bible passages and being adorable in the process.

We'll be going up to my grandparent's house this afternoon sometime for more food and more presents.  It's been very cozy so far.  And they have a fireplace, so it's sure to get even more cozy.

*sarcasm, people.

christmas, rl
