Squee post!
First off, about half my flist seems to have their birthday during the end of Aug and beginning of Sep. I am awful at remembering to wish people happy birthdays, but rest assured that I am aware when your birthday comes up and I'm sending you my best wishes.

The Vampire Diaries
-I love that Elena grabs a knife to protect herself. Yes, she's really no match for a super strong vamp, but I don't care. She's awesome for trying.
-Jeremy being a vampire would have made him more interesting, but I can't say I'm surprised.
-I kind of like Stephen being pushy with Jeremy about trying to turn. Someone needs to say it.
-I want to hug the sheriff. Poor girl.
-I would never have guessed Bonnie would be the one to OK Damon healing Caroline with his blood.
-Damon's confusion over Elena not remembering stuff and the OH SHIT look when he realizes it means Katherine is back, was possibly the best thing ever.
-Matt and Caroline are the cutest thing on the planet.
-Just when I think they can't add any more eye candy, Uncle Mason shows up. Mmmm.
-Stephen being all forceful with people is...different. I think I like it.
-Looooooooooong commercial breaks suck
-Damon and Bonnie are such great antagonists to each other
-Bonnie making Damon suffer just to prove she could was rather awesome
-OK, seriously, another commercial break? The last one was longer than the actual show!
-HARRY POTTER TV SPOT IS AWESOME YES IT IS
-The Katherine/Bonnie confrontation was awesome. And Katherine being able to brush Bonnie's power off? Nice.
-Damons' face when Elena said she was surprised Damon thought she'd kiss him back- let me hug you and make it better baby
-Nina's doing a good job of making Katherine feel like a different character completely
-Damon trying to get Stephen to fight with him, so very typical self destructive Damon, and I loved that Stephen knew exactly why and not only didn't get provoked but threw it in Damon's face so he had to deal with it.
-I haven't really cared about Tyler up to this point, and I'm still not sure I do, but if it keeps hot Mason around I'm good for now.
-Katherine/Damon are so fucked up, but man are they hot.
-Katherine's face when Damon said 'wait' while they were making out- hilarious
-Poor Damon. No, really, I'll hug you. For free. No strings, I promise.
-Oh, honey, no, this is not the way to go about things.
-HOLY SHIT DID NOT SEE THAT COMING WHAT OH GOD DAMON YOU BASTARD WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO REGRESS
-Oh the ring, so Jeremy didn't really die, or came back at least. But Elena's not going to be forgetting that any time soon.
-Uncle Mason and Tyler really do look related.
-Oh Damon, Jesus, I don't know if I pity you or hate you.
-I knew someone was becoming a vampire, so when it wasn't Jeremy I knew it'd be Caroline. She was the only other one in a risky situation.
-Katherine is so fucking evil and I love it.
Best Lines
Stephen: What are you going to do when she does?
Damon: I don't know, stake her, rip her head off, we'll see. Something polite.
Katherine goes to attack Bonnie, Bonnie knocks the door open so other people can see them, she stand there with her mouth hanging open for a few seconds, then retracts her fangs slowly.
Katherine: Nice.
Damon: I kissed you, I thought you kissed me back, doppelganger hijinx ensued.
Katherine(after stabbing him): You hate me, huh? That sounds like the beginning of a love story, Stephen, not an end.
Damon: Don't pout, it's not attractive in a woman your age
Nikita
Less scene by scene for this one because it's all new and I'm taking it all in.
-So many people are saying Shane West was miscast...he seems OK so far. Nothing groundbreaking but not laughably bad either.
-Maggie has incredibly stunning eyes. Yes, I am being shallow, sue me.
-So they're going to keep it ambiguous whether or not she actually committed a crime to get pulled into Division, or if she's innocent like in the Peta version.
-Why is she telling all this to her foster dad that she hates?
-Oh, I get it. She wants to be found. She's using him.
-I like the inter-cutting between Nikita and Alex while dialogue is still going on. Nice editing choice.
-Nikita celebrating the proposal by punching her fiance and him really wincing, lol
-Nice twist with Alex being Ukranina originally, already in hiding.
-That was so obviously a mannequin at the grave.
-Burkhoff being chained to a springy rocking horse, lol (BTW I typed that before Michael used that very description, lol)
-Really? We're still doing the high heels on missions thing? It's one thing if you're under cover and it would look weird to not wear them, but there's nothing about what she was wearing that required heels.
-Nikita shooting Michael, nice.
-Loved that reveal. Alex and Nikita, working together. Badasses. Heh, Sensei.
