Weird

This is new.

I have a sore neck.  Not that weird, right?  Wait for it.

I can tip my head forward just fine.  Tipping side to side it fine.  Swiveling back and forth is fine.  It's only tipping it backwards that hurts.  Ready for the really weird part?  It hurts when I swallow.  Not my throat, my neck.  The back of my neck hurts when I swallow.  And when I yawn.  Bizarre!   I have the weirdest, most random things go wrong with my body.  Thankfully none of them are all that serious.  Did I tell you guys about those two weeks last year (or maybe the year before even) where I had morning sickness?  Without being pregnant?  Yeah, that was fun.  Then it just went away.

Oh, and I just realized it hurts to push on the front of my neck, although that's not stiff or sore otherwise.  Really weird.

ETA:  Just realized that the part of my neck that hurts to push on?  Is my thyroid.  Guess whose mom had Hoshimoto's Thyroid disease and ended up with Thyroid cancer?

It's entirely possible to have a swollen Thyroid for benign reasons, but considering the family history...guess who gets to go to the doctor tomorrow!
