Harry Potter:
1. The first character I first fell in love with
It's been a loooong time, but I think Hermione was the first. She was super smart and kept her cool, and she was a total bookworm like I was so she made me feel less uncool.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Ginny. She was practically noexistent in the first book, and despite her importance to the second she still didn't get a whole lot of develpment. But by book 5 she was growing into her own character and I was falling for her right along with Harry.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Luna. I don't hate her, I just don't love her like the fandom seems to.

Ginny seems to get a fair amount of hate from the fandom.

Probably Molly Weasley, as boring as that sounds. She loves her family, she has a nice quiet life (when there's not a war on) that she enjoys, but she will fucking cut a bitch if you go after her kids. Do NOT mess with Molly.

Snape. Complex or not he's a total ass who treated Harry like shit just because his mom picked someone else.
9. A pairing that I love
Harry/Ginny. I like complex realism most of the time, but there's something sweet and nostalgic about fairytales and happy endings, and HP always struck me as something of a fairytale. It was the right ending, IMO.
10. A pairing that I despise
Harry/Hermione. This is just one instance where I can't get past the overwhelming sibling love vibe. They just don't see each other that way, anywhere in canon, and while I respect shipper's rights to like who they like, I do not get it at all.

Bela. I hated her on first run, but then I read some meta from people who liked her and I rewatched, and while she wasn't perfect, she was still kind of awesome.

Nobody shoot me, but Bobby. Again, like Luna, it's not that I hate him, I like him and I think he's important. But I don't love him. I thought he and Ellen should have gone out in AAH, to cut the Winchesters off from their 'mentors'.

Jo. Or Bela. Or Anna. Or Ruby. Or basically anyone with a vagina who isn't Meg, Ellen, or Pam (who were generally well received).

The Trickster. He was awesome when he was the Trickster, but making him Gabriel was not a retcon I liked. At all.
