(
It was a pleasant day, so it followed that Orihime would be outside in the same incontrovertible way that the presence of bees followed flowers. )
When Yachiru had finish talking, she nodded slowly. "I... I think I've seen him around?" she said hesitantly. "I mean, I'm not quite sure, I might have, or I might have just imagined it, or I might be making myself imagine now that I've seen him because really, if you're looking for him or you're lost I would love to help you find him--" She cut herself off and took a deep breath.
"I... don't think he's left, though!" she said. "In fact, I'm sure he hasn't." She smiled broadly. "I don't see how anybody could bring themselves to leave without saying goodbye to a friend as adorable as you are."
Then, suddenly, Tsubaki whizzed right past her ear, yelling. Orihime yelped and jumped, and could only watch in horror as he flew at Yachiru. "Tsubaki!" she cried, as the agitated fairy fluttered around the pink-haired girl. The other Shun Shun Rikka were circling her, too; they were less demonstrative than Tsubaki, but they talked in hushed whispers, casting worried, disapproving glances at the beheaded flowers. "Tsubaki, stop that! Leave her alone!" He wasn't actually attacking the girl, just diving around her head and hands.
"Um, um!" exclaimed Orihime, looking earnestly at Yachiru. "Could you maybe, er, stop picking the heads off those flowers? It upsets these friends of mine, you see..." She worried her lower lip between her teeth. Orihime knew that other people couldn't see the Shun Shun Rikka, and she knew that sometimes it worried them, put them a little bit on edge, and she really didn't want to cause other people discomfort. It was horrible! So she always tried to be careful about the subject -- and sometimes, she failed, but usually that was all right because she knew that if other people laughed at her or yelled at her, it was just because they couldn't understand, and people were scared of things they couldn't understand.
But she really didn't want to scare Yachiru.
"Could you just stop? Please? I don't mean to offend you or anything..." she suggested, somewhat timidly.

At first, she simply nodded at what Orihime said about Ken-chan, totaly agreeing that she was far too adorable to leave behind.
Then, she considered what the other girl really said, about her friends and the flowers and such. She looked around for these friendly types, but couldn't see anyone else. No matter, she liked playing Let's Pretend.
Giggling as she glanced down at the headless flowers, Yachiru picked up the stems and heads and held them out as if offering a gift. "It's upsettin' yer friends? But do' they know that I'm jus' helpin' tha flowers? I'm spreadin' their seedin' parts about, so they'll grow other places!"
She paused, watching Orihime's face. "If they ain' happy thou, I got some glue inside I can go fix these with!"
