My 101 list: 19/101

Apr 08, 2013 00:15

Since I started compiling it on July 12, I only have 990 days left according to DayZeroProject. It's all good, though, since I've already started work on some of the ones I came up with first.

101 goals, organized in questionable categories )

Hope you don't mind my commenting here. If you're more than welcome to delete it. (BUT ONLY AFTER READING IT!! :P) Even if it is wishful thinking, any that you complete will be more than you started with.

I know what you mean about weirdly organized but some of the things I couldn't see fitting anywhere else. I think it might be projects and habits that is throwing stuff off. That said, I don't really have any other suggestion for them other than breaking them down from those groups into other groups. (I think organization was one of the hardest things for me.) Even still, I don't really like my categories and some would've fallen better in another place but after numbering them, I was just letting the chips fall where they may. If you want to throw some ideas around, you are more than welcome to email me.

I think all the small categories up top are good. Definitely love your goals. (What's a kiva loan?) Good luck with all the exercise stuff. I definitely fell off the C25K wagon a LONG time ago. I'm not sure if I'll get back on again. :/ Love the scrapbook idea.

You might be able to make a Learning/Education section that might encompass some of your goals and break down the groups.

You've got lots of travel goals which I am most excited about. (Living vicariously and all. And it made me feel good to see your New Wonders of the World nominees and realized I had actually been to several. Haha.) I want to see the Northern Lights SO BAD. I need to plan myself a trip to see them one day. (Perhaps my next list...) I like the picture a day traveling goal too. :) I'm really excited to hear about your progress and see how things come along. Good luck!! :D

Why would I want to delete your comment?? Don't be silly, girl :Þ

Kiva is a website that allows you to loan $25 to a small business owner (or group of business owners) in developing countries. They're usually people who wouldn't be able to afford a loan from a banking institution. I REALLY like the idea behind Kiva, since you're helping people help themselves, and the money you invest comes back to you to reinvest in still other people.

I don't know about the C25K myself... It's just so freaking hot down here, haha. But who knows, maybe when summer's over, haha.

A Learning/Education section is a great idea, thank you!! I'll keep you posted on my progress... After all, you've been my 101 mentor all along :D

Haha. Silly is what I do. :)

Ahhh! That is pretty cool then. I've seen something like that for loaning students money to go to school. I've always been hesitant about it though. Perhaps I'll put it on my next 101. Woo woo! :) I love hearing about progress.
