Round 122
Hello hello, and happy June, everybody! (And, June already? Where the heck does the time go?!) As fire_sister mentioned, I was traveling for approximately 90% of the day yesterday, and preparing for said trip for 95% of Sunday, which would explain the rather extreme tardiness of this challenge. Eek! Would've gotten it up last night but I was in no fit state to do anything other than collapse unconscious in bed - waking up at 5:30 a.m. to catch a 7:00 a.m. flight will do that to you - so the theme is coming to you tonight, with an extended deadline to make up for things still not being quite on schedule.
I was looking through our tags the other day and it occurred to me that while we've had challenges focusing on Kara and almost every other major character on the show (Lee, Sam, Six, and Laura come to mind immediately), there has been no theme revolving entirely around Kara and her ostensible best friend, Karl "Helo" Agathon. I adore the friendship between Kara and Helo, especially as portrayed in the latter half of S1 and early to mid part of S2, and I think it's a shame that the writers just sort of dropped that thread after S2 (though it was briefly, briefly picked up again in S4.5). But this week we'll be trying to make up for that a little by celebrating Kara and Helo, in 100x100 format of course. :D
I've provided 32 screencaps under the cut, some of Kara, some of Helo, and some of them together. Your task is to make an icon or icons that feature both Kara and Helo. Icons can focus on their friendship, on their status as officers serving together, or on whatever other theme you'd like to portray, so long as both characters do appear in the icon. You can use the provided caps, but that's not absolutely required - if you have a screencap in mind that you think would work even better, feel free, as long as it does feature both characters. :D
Be creative, have fun, and if you've got any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. :)
