So. We got cable on saturday. Dennis got rather fed up with the not really being able to watch the superbowl because of the terrible reception, as well as really missing the history channel. So we now have cable. Seventy-some channels. I can already see that it's a bad, bad idea. We didn't get anything done before, we certainly won't now.

Time is just flying away from me. I get home exhausted, and next thing I know, it's bedtime. Part of it is me being used to dinner at 6, and having time afterwards to do things. Now, dinner isn't until 9. So I can't "goof off until dinner" and then settle down and get things done. The weekends aren't any help either. I'm so tired all week, that I end up sleeping the weekends away, and nothing gets done. You know that couch we were trying to get into our apartment? It's *STILL* in the hallway outside the apartment.

And now we have cable. So easy to sit down and flip channels. All seventy-some of them. And then you go through them again to see what's on the ones that were on commercial the first time around. Even my time in front of a computer at home has become a waste. I sit and endlessly refresh email, journals, forums, hoping for something to read to entertain me for a bit. Even spider solitaire doesn't hold me. I'll start playing, get distracted and never finish the game. Or I just don't really pay attention and keep getting stuck cause I'm making stupid moves. But I just seem to tired to bother concentrating anymore. When I get home, I just want to sleep. So much to be done. I haven't dusted or vacuumed in too long. And before I know it, it's next week, next month.
