a little better
I had another one of those nights where it seems that just as your head hits the pillow, it's time to wake up again. But I'm surprisingly awake. Maybe it's because I actually did some stuff this morning. =p
Feeling *slightly* less stressed. The cake ended up being about $150 less than we thought, so I was able to cover that with no problem. The trouble is the DJ tonight. I have two cards with a credit limit of about $5k. I initiated a balance transfer from one to the other. It hasn't gone through yet though. But since the transfer is going to be at about the limit of the card... which card do I pay for the DJ with? The card I *want* to use is pretty much maxed out until the balance is transferred. The other card is empty, but if I put this on it, then I don't know if that balance transfer will go through. I also asked for my credit limit to be upped on the first card; that would help a bunch, but it doesn't look like that has gone through yet either.
So less stress cause the cake is taken care of, and cheaper than we thought. Still plenty of stress involving the DJ. Not to mention the rehearsal dinner, and filling out the seating arrangements for the caterer.
Ugh. And while the flowers are pretty much finalized, those also still need to be paid for. Merf.
