Letting herself into the Psych office, Kara kicked the door shut and headed over to Shawn's desk, dropping the two grocery bags she was carrying atop the wood. Potato Chips, Cheese Curls, Twinkies, M&M, Reeses Pieces...all the major junk food families were accounted for. There was even peanut butter to dunk the chocolate chip cookies in. Because who didn't love a peanut butter covered chocolate chip cookie?
All she had to do was hope Shawn and Gus didn't come in and eat it all before Clay arrived. Clay...it was kind of weird to think she had a little brother. After all, for the past twenty some odd years it had been just her and Shawn. And now to find out her mother had this whole other life? She wasn't sure whether she should be upset or angry. Though, angry was easier. Angry was always easier when it came to her mother.
She'd have to tell Shawn. And what about their Dad?
Whoa whoa whoa. One thing at a time. First get to know Clay. Then spring him on Shawn. And THEN deal with the rest of the family.
Well at least this whole thing was a welcome distraction from the Russell drama.
