*MASTERPOST* Matsumoto was dreaming about one thing now: nice, big glass of Gin & Tonic with lime and ice. Fresh, fruity and the most important, cold. Chinese heat was unbearable, and a broken air condition in the studio wasn’t helping at all. Young actor was shooting his new movie abroad, and all he wanted was to go home to Japan, to his beloved Tokyo. He was already annoyed by strange language, weird people, smelly food and hotels. Luckily he had a flight first thing in the morning, so the end of this torturing business trip was close.
After the last scene, Jun was really happy that he can take off the black suit and put on something more comfortable. Shortly after, he headed straight to the hotel, because he needed a bath badly. Sitting in the bathtub, his thoughts ran towards the forbidden topic, as usual. He was wondering what Nino was doing and where he could be; they haven’t met each other since that quick making out in his car long time ago. To clear his mind from his dirty memories of the nights he had spent with the photographer, he sunk his head in water and remained like that for a moment, but it didn’t help at all. Strong and clear image of the photographer’s face was still visible, making Jun’s body to react. Even the lack of an air didn’t make the picture disappear. After a quite long while he emerged, breathless with pain in his lunges. This was not good; it meant that he will have to look for somebody to vent his most sinful intentions again. Matsumoto didn’t like any Chinese guys that were wandering around him, and all of drama’s staff members were straight, so all he could do was to wait… Longing for the Japan was stronger than before.

Jun wasn’t surprised at all. This kind of ‘presents’ appeared out of nowhere now and then, so he got used to it already. But now things were different; the package was INSIDE his home, which meant that somebody was in his apartment. And that could mean that he is not safe anymore. Considering fact that this present was different from previous ones; more… intense, you can say.
In the middle of his bed was lying a quite big grey box, tied with red ribbon. Inside this package he found a bunch of white roses covered in blood, or maybe some red fluid that imitated blood very well. Next to the flowers a small piece of paper was lying peacefully, blinking with black letters… As expected it was a letter from blackmailer… In fact it was hard to call that person like that, because he or she didn’t write anything about expectations from the actor’s side. Matsumoto’s manager claimed that it’s just a stupid game of a fanatic fan, and as far as it restrained to some hateful, but harmless notes Jun could normally walk in the streets. But now, the case became more serious and dangerous. A stranger came into his own home! What if Jun was inside? That put the whole situation in the new light and it could mean the necessity to move, bunch of bodyguards or policemen beside him and grounding… That wasn’t the worst thing… Matsumoto started to read the letter and fear came to him, bringing him shivers. The person who was trying to scare him was whether Ohno or one of his boys; this note was a proof! It may not contain many sentences, but the message was clear.
‘Moratorium is still alive’ - nothing more. Matsumoto knew only one place with that name… It was closed for a long time, but recently he noticed some kind of strange movement in the building. As expected, a few days ago in the same building a new club was opened, with a weird name ‘Vivid’. Could it mean that the new club was owned by Ohno? That would be too easy! Probably one of his employees wants to get some kind of revenge for destroying Satoshi’s plan? But who? It could be the little servant, but that boy certainly was beside his master, loyal as hell! Whether it was all Ohno’s plan in the first place, or it was somebody else… Could it be that so-called doctor? What was his name? Ah! Inoo Kei… But he was the one that interrupted Moratorium’s owner in killing the caster and the bartender! Besides… Wasn’t he dead?
Matsumoto was convinced that he read it in newspaper a while ago… Somebody noticed that a few men kidnapped the young ‘medic’. Kei-chan was quite famous, because he was the one that testified against his former colleagues on the drug dealing case and many of his pictures were on TV and magazines. This was an obvious mistake from the authorities’ side to let publish those photos, but probably they wanted to make the Ohno’s gang to kill each other. Anyway, Inoo was kidnapped and the police found some blood traces near the coast and Kei-chan’s ID. Although no body was found, he was declared dead and the investigation was closed.
Other members of the gang were in prison, Ohno and Chinen ended on some island, so practically there was no one who could do such a thing. Although… That stinky mosquito? Could it be possible that he planned all of this? But why? What was the reason? Ninomiya disappeared after their short meeting a long time ago and didn’t care to contact with the actor. Probably there was no reason to tease Matsumoto in that way. Tease? The last present was almost like a threat! No, Kazunari doesn’t have any reason to act that way. Then who?
Jun got a headache from all these thoughts, so he reached for his cell phone to call his manager, but instead, he saw that somebody’s calling. An unlisted number made Matsumoto cautious; the actor slowly picked up.
- Hello…
- Good evening Matsumoto-sama… Did you receive my little gift? - Electronically altered voice asked. Jun couldn’t say anything about it; it was just too ‘mechanical’ to recognize it.
- Yes, I did. Who are you?
- You will know that in your own time. Now, I want to ask you to come to "Vivid" tomorrow at 8 p. m.
- What for?
- It’s a surprise… So… Will you come from your own will, or should I force you to do it?
- How you can force me? You don’t have anything to…
- You’re forgetting about one thing… Photos that Ninomiya took while you were focused on playing with that bartender… I have those… Imagine what will happen if accidentally, somebody would send them to newspapers…
- You wouldn’t dare!
- You don’t know me, Matsumoto-sama… So what do you say? Tomorrow, 8 p. m., "Vivid"?
- Damn you! - Jun was on the edge of madness, but probably curiosity and desire to end it quickly were stronger. - I’ll be there…
A sound of hanging up brought the actor back to earth. Soon he will know who was responsible for those stupid notes and now, for the blackmail.
All he could do was to wait… the most hated thing in the world…
