HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYONE!!
I guess I'll update on what's been happening in my life. It's been about a month since I've shown my lovely icon on live journal. Well, I think most of you know, but for those who don't.. I'm going to be going to Colorado this summer and working at the YMCA of the Rockies!! Now let me explain: I am going with a group of people from h2o and we are doing some sort of Leadership Training.. to be more.. I guess you could say "Godly" and what not. Personally, I cannot wait! I'll probably be driving out there part of the way :\ (not with my car of course!!) so that should be fun! The only thing I'm worried about is not getting a job at the Y because I haven't gotten all of my references in. :( But the lady that I think is in charge of it emailed me and asked what hours I will need to work, so I'm going to assume that getting a job will not be a problem. I'm going to be there from May 23 to August 10, but since it's such a long drive, I'm leaving on the 21st and probably not getting back until the 11th or 12th. I'm expecting this to be the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life so far, so wish me luck!
Ummm.. other than that, things have been going pretty well. My roommate and I are actually talking to each other like in real conversations, not her just complaining about classes and life in general. lol. I think it's because I'm the only one she can stand anymore.. haha. I'm hanging around w/ her more. It's pretty nice. Also, next year I will be living in Offenhauer (you probably don't know what that is, but it's a pretty sweet dorm w/ air conditioning!!) with my friend Ali. That should be great fun, because Ali basically rocks. ANnnd she goes home a lot, so I will be able to bring people over here sometimes over the weekends! lol. I got registered for classes the other day.. it went pretty good. I got into all the classes that I needed to, but I have 5 classes on Monday.. blegh. Oh well, at least I'll get them out of the way.
Alright, enough of my rambling. Maybe I should update more often so that my entries aren't like 10 pages long. All in favor say "FO RELLLLS".. haha (if you even read this far!!). ok Peace out.
