There it is. The handcrafted pinata I did (almost) all by myself. I formed the shape with chicken wire and used a bowl for the head and cut up cereal boxes for the legs and paper macheed the whole thing. Then I spray painted it and covered it with crepe paper. Monkey helped me attach a walkie talkie inside the head so that he could talk and make artoo noises when the kids hit him. Even though he got busted to smithereens, it was still really fun to make - and totally worth it. The kids loved it.
Elliot chows down on some Wookie Cookies while drinking some Yoda Soda. Although some of the kids didn't care for the Yoda Soda, the Wookie Cookes were a hit and all 5 batches were gone within an hour. You can kind of see the plastic on the walls. I hung huge sheets of black plastic all over the dining room and hung huge silver stars from the (high) ceiling. It looked *very* cool.
Elliot and his little friend Kara (she has a good name) in the star wars gear. I told Kara if she wore my Leia wig I'd let her hit the pinata first. She thought that seemed like a totally cool idea.
Elliot's Yoda-loving friend practices his jedi moves with one of Elliot's toys.
Baby sister of one of the party dwellers. She was very interested in everything that was going on.
I'll be uploading more as I get them edited onto my
