Another Saturday.....
I am not sure why I think I need to go to the store the day before a major holiday. But I end up doing it all the time. The other shoppers are just driving me nuts :-(. I have never seen so many stupid (in my opinion) people on the road and in the store as today!! I just don't understand why these people have to go shopping at the last moment (I only went, because I was out of milk for Jay -- otherwise I would have stayed as far away as possible). It is not like the stores close at 8:00 PM at night and are totally closed on Sundays like in Germany. These grocery stores are open 24 hours a day most of the year -- so why go when everyone else goes???? I guess they prefer shopping in big groups -- I prefer shopping alone or with only a minimal number of people in the store.
I did get some more fresh cut flowers though -- let's see how long it takes Sheila and Leia to start nibbling on them LOL.
So after getting the Millennium Falcon yesterday, Jason announced that he now needs a Star Destroyer too. Well, I cannot actually argue with that -- but it might be quite expensive. Not to mention big and hard to play with.
One thing that made my sad today was when Jason stayed in the car during I ran into a store to get something. And when I came out I asked him what he was doing, he said he was watching another little boy play with his dad. And he sounded kind of sad. I wish his dad had a bit more time and patience to play with him - sigh.....
