I survived hell
This weekend was *meh* Nothing too exciting, just same ol same ol. I went with Wendy and Ginny up to Chimneyrock to hike. Me and Wendy noticed a total difference from the first time we went there (meaning we weren't dying gasping for breath at the end of the hike).
Then I entered hell. The whole ride up they talked about hockey, the whole ride back it was how nothing is up to their Texan standards here in N.C.
1. North Carolinians don't KNOW real barbeque.
2. The only riverwalk that matters is the San Antonio riverwalk (and if you want to talk semantics...the San Antonio riverwalk is not a true riverwalk since, you DON'T get to walk on the river).
3. Real cowboys/cowgirls DON'T line dance..so no place but Texas knows anything about country dancing.
4. We don't know WHAT humidity is.
Imaginig listening to that for 2 hours on the way back. One without the other is fine, both of them together is a texas nightmare.
Hung out at home afterwards, Tony had a get together for our friend Gray who's moving to Brooklyn today (after he gives me his fondue set...never used..yay). The get together started sometime after I went to sleep and lasted until Sunday. Me and Chris bonded over our ethnic hair products, hehe.
