Title: Moonlight Sleeping On A Midnight Lake Fandom: Torchwood Character: Gwen Cooper (Gen) Rating: G Notes: Written for tw100 Challenge #162-Homeless. Unbeta'ed Summary: Looking for Torchwood.
Well there's been some talk that the events of the Dr. Who season finale have taken care of that. Besides, Torchwood has always had multiple branches. Jack and Gwen can globetrot and banter and fight aliens as necessary. Thanks for reading and commenting. This was another tricky prompt for me to get a handle on.
I want CoE to end exactly the way it did and for TW4 to start with Jack coming back full as his omni-sexual, polyamorous self, in full smile and swagger to have sex with as many men, women, aliens etc as possible. The Jack we were given in The Empty Child and should have had in Torchwood all along.
In my universe I don't change COE ending. but I use it to build a complete new life and future for Jack, were he will ultimately find a way to save Ianto.
I like very much the Jack from Doctor Who, that why a write a lot of Nine/Rose/Jack fic. but I think the Torchwood's Jack has grown up, he is older and had been wounded. In my analyse I'd say COE is as traumatic for him than the Doctor abandoning him or telling him he is wrong.
I don't think Jack can't seriously be taken back to the innocent young man he was in Doctor Who without erasing all that.
I completely, 100% disagree, both in the assessment of what CoE meant for Jack and any so-called innocence he had in Dr. Who. But, you know, YMMV. As I said, all styles served here, although the Chelsea Drugstore is especially friendly to Jack/ABI shippers and real!Jack believers.
Strong supporters of torchwood_decaf. But seriously, you'll find lots of lovely folks here, and you'll get to see the dog of the day every day. Welcome!

As for doctor who rewriting time I dreamt it of taking care of the 456 incident as well, but I'm not sure RTD wants it.
Can I friend You?
