I don't think it's been done to DEATH, bearing in mind that I haven't really been in the fandom for the last couple of years. I don't think there's any reason why you couldn't write something like that.

Let's see how I feel about it when I've seen all of both shows, but I'm strongly considering it and for that reason, avoiding reading anyone else's take.

It's been done, but not a ton. There simply isn't that much S&A fic to begin with. I think the only trope that's slightly overdone in S&A is pre-series Geoffrey & Darren.

Maybe it's just my weird brain. About two episodes in, it immediately occurred to. So far I'm just contemplating the set-up in terms of the two time-lines, and I haven't even seen all of both shows.

DIEF!!! So cute. It's definitely on the drawing board. I'm torn between seeing how other people have handled it and not wanting to be "contaminated" although that's probably a stronger word than I mean.
