Oh, I like this! The first paragraph sets off her confusion so well -- Claudia doesn't want to be normal and have a normal life, but she can see there would be some benefits she's missing.

And I can completely see Myka being flummoxing.

Of course Miss High and Mighty doesn’t make it any easier. One minute she’s lecturing Claudia about that stupid manual that only she’s read

I definitely love your Claudia voice, right down to her conflict between Myka being, on the one hand, Miss High and Mighty and, on the other, the possessor of Those long legs, that neck, and those kind of funny-looking lips she still wants to kiss.

So glad you liked. I haven't done femslash in a long time, and I was worried about the squick factor due to the age thing.

I did like - you hit just the right note. Which was an achievement in itself as I never *see* femslash as a rule.

I rarely see age as a problem in relationships (real OR fictitious) - this is maybe because my father was 9 years younger than my mother.

I see your nine year difference and raise you eighteen between my mother and father, although in my case it was my father so not as big a deal on the social level.

I think I see the femslash for Warehouse 13 more than a lot of other shows, simply because the "designated het pairing" is so unbelievably lame and because Claudia is the most vibrant character in the show. I ship her and Artie too. (Speaking of age differences that might cause a squick or two out there.)

I love you for writing Warehouse 13 femslash. I started seeing it in Duped and was so disappointed that no one else even batted an eye at it. I really hope you continue writing Myka/Claudia.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think Claudia is by far the most interesting character and despite the age issues pairs up into a number of possible ships. Femslash is so under-represented in fandom that its always nice to find a pairing I can write.
