Two hours in a motel room on Route 46 turned out to be an offer that Wilson couldn’t refuse.
“He’s ruined you, too,” Cameron had announced as she was taking off her bra.
Wilson hadn’t bothered to argue the point. The fact that he was there and fantasizing about House walking in on them pretty much proved it. He wondered when she’d become so strong and why he was still so weak. He just undressed and did what he’d always done and would probably always do. House hadn't changed and neither had he.
“I loved him,” she gasped, and it seemed completely appropriate that even here and now, it was still all about House.
“But you couldn’t fix him,” he thought smugly, before giving in to the moment, but she must have known. They’d both heard House’s accusation enough times.
Cameron waited until she’d trembled and squirmed and fallen on to his sweating body, before whispering in his ear.
“I wanted him to fix me.”
He kissed her gently, stroking her hair, and wishing with all the guilt and regret at his copious disposal that they’d done this before, and discovered just how alike they really were.
“Me too.”
