Good work on the cleaning. I sympathise with your grime issues very much. We live in a huge house, a full time job each and I have a deep and abiding hatred for housework. We have started with a declutter. Well, to be fair, Mr G has started with the decluttering. But I'll be picking it up, and between us we will get this house straight eventually.

One of the big problems is that hubby grinds his own coffee, so the kitchen is basically covered in a fine coating of soot from that, not to mention regular spillages that don't get cleaned up very much. It was even worse when he was also roasting his own beans.

And now I remember I need to step away from the computer and clear up in the kitchen. Damn you :)

But afterwards you can collapse back in front of the computer feeling much more righteous and justified. :)
