Weird Keith/Rachel disconnect tonight--or is it just me?
By the time I finished watching Countdown, I was pretty despondent on the chance for the public option. Keith, Lawrence O'Donnell, Arianna Huffington et al, seemed convinced that public option is totally dead, that the Republicans were totally winning, that nothing would pass the House or the Senate. Nothing. Nada. Totally depressing.
Then Rachel started and she's totally giddy and happy and talking to the Fire Dog Lake lady and interpreting the statements from Obama and Gibbs and Sibelius to mean that Public Option is alive. (Not to mention the awesome Pizza Metaphor.)
Did anyone else feel that MSNBC was a little schizophrenic tonight?
