It drives her nuts to think that people will always think of her that way. They won’t know how hard she worked to be a good actress. They’ll have no idea that she was married to Bobby.
She knocks back some whiskey and takes a puff of her cigarette and laughs at how wrong the image is, and always was.
In some ways they’re right. Over twenty years since Bobby died and no one’s touched her since.
Except herself, of course.
Not even Sandra Dee is that innocent.
