Ganked from severinne

How many fandoms do you actively participate in (reading, writing and/or commenting)?

Three that I would call major fandoms.
House MD, Who/Torchwood, Life On Mars
But there's tons of offshoots that I'm tangentially involved in as well.

How many fandoms do you lurk in?Let's say one-Heroes. Although I've written and commented there ( Read more... )

HAVE YOU SEEN MY LJ?

YES I HAVE!! Actually, you were another one of my flist that I was hoping to see take up this particular meme, because in the few weeks that we've been friended I have seen exactly how much fandom activity you manage to find time for and am agog with amazement. And yes, I think you do get to count yuletide as a fandom it scared the crap out of me :P

yuletide is daunting, but I'd still urge you to join the comm and consider participating this time around.

I remember when I was primarily a Housefrau and everybody on my list was getting into this Torchwood thing and I was like "GO AWAY" I don't have time for another fandom, especially one I can't even see in the US.

Innocent days, those were.

What fandom is SoP?

And I'm curious, you didn't list RPS separately? Do you consider it part of the fandom the actors are in?

Basically. Or maybe I should list it separately because there is something different as well.

SoP is State of Play. (Which will have to be listed as SoP UK, since the US remake is hitting theaters soon.)

Hot and Well-Written Trumps Everything Shouldn't this have a corollary - except in That Pairing I Am Allergic To? :D

Welcome home.

Also, in part because of you, I picked up State Of Play on DVD today (other reasons - the cast and other flisties waxing poetic about it).

Under certain circumstances, mostly having to do with who is writing it and assurances that it will be written in a way to preclude my breaking into hives and projectile vomiting.

YOU WILL LOVE STATE OF PLAY SO MUCH!!!

Seriously. Not a doubt in my mind. I'd be surprised if you weren't starting to write slashfic about twenty minutes into the first episode.

Oh sorry! UK ONLY!!!!!! Sleepy eyes.

I've seen the promo for the US movie it looks HIDEOUS, and I don't JUST MEAN Russell Crowe's scruffy beard and greasy hair.

Russell, I knew Cal McCaffrey. Cal McCaffrey was a friend of mine. And you are no Cal McCaffrey.
