Thanks to everybody who attended either as a writer or a reader.
You guys are awesome and I love you!
First things first, a bit of pimpage. If you only attended the first two or three nights you might have missed some awesome costumes. People were showing up until the very last minute posting stories, so
PRETTY PLEASE go back, and see if you

Next, I do have to get back in and finish reading, thanks for the poke!
What was it like to write "out of character?" Hard? Easy? Scary? Do you want to do it again next year? Do you never want to do it again as long as you live?
A little of all of those things. The act of pushing my self to finish something was tough and kind of scary. Then trying to stay truer to the idea of the party I went with a POV that was one I have never written in. That was great!
One of the other reasons I love this party, I could not write on autopilot. I really had to think about the character and her POV and how she viewed the other character, which is not necessarily the same way that character views himself.
God, weather, and the fickle fates of the internet permitting I will definitely be here next year!
Did you listen to any of the music or were you too busy looking at costumes?
Too busy looking at costumes but I like the idea of a playlist and would probably pay more attention to it next year.
Were there fandoms you'd never read before that you gave a try or did mostly stick to what you were already familiar with?
I started with the fandom I was most into (House) am still working my way through other fandoms I may not be involved in but know something about the shows or have watched them on occasion (Dr. Who, Torchwood, Heroes, Spooks).
Time permitting I may go back and read the remaining just because the writers made the effort. But I think, because of the way fanfiction is usually written (not alot of character explanation becasue you should already know that stuff), It will be tough to make any sense of the stories and be any judge as to whether the writer has achieved what they set out to do.
And I do have to say that daphnie_1 inspired me to give those stories a try (I'm just about up to yours sweetie! I promise a read and a comment!) so who knows. I would also like to know if folks read outside their fandoms and how that was for them.
Hmmm, changes??? More omnisexual bartenders. There just weren't enough to go around. And seriously, Tanqueray Ten dear. That Beefeater stuff is for fru-fru drinks, not martinis. ;P LOL!!!
Seriously though I cannot think of anything off hand. If I do I'll let you know.

And don't worry about that thing with the bartender. What happens at the Chelsea Drugstore stays at the Chelsea Drugstore.
