My gift fic to the F-list will be the latest RPS installment of my Hugh Laurie/Robert Sean Leonard saga. I realize this isn't much of a gift to those of you with a deeply held squick about either the genre or the pairing, but I'm passionate about the stories and incredibly proud of the work I've done on this one with the help of beta_goddess

I don't THINK I had intended to write a series. I hate series, multi-parters, WIPs etc. But there was more story to tell and I couldn't stop myself. One of the best endings to a story I've ever written, and it's only there because Beta Goddess Carol sent it back over and over again, until I came up with something that made us both cry.

This is the one that caused the famous WANK at house_wilson. I posted the damn thing and woke up to find a rather contentious situation had broken out. I was stunned only because I'd posted all the previous chapters at the comm with little to no brou-ha-ha.
