Nothing has ever given us reason to link John McCain to the Foo Fighters. Now that’s changed ( ... )

OH PWNED.

Good on Ms. Peters for adding to the PPFA Palin-protest kitty.

And isn't it just like certain Republicans to say, "quit your whinin', you've been paid" when taken to task for such rudenesses?

Goes nicely with the Olbermann contributions to Alaska Special Olympics.

Do these people not even LISTEN to the damn songs?

(Like when Reagan tried to co-opt Born In The USA. HELLO????!!!!)

I'm very pleased with Gretchen Peters' response! I can't think of anything that would bug Palin more than Planned Parenthood donations in her name.

The "woman's response" in question in this song?

Burning the house down with herself inside. (This is what I remember from the video, anyway.)

That's an interesting choice for a political campaign.

By which I mean, SHUT UP SARAH PALIN and also Gretchen Peters is my new favorite songwriter. ♥

It's amazing how tone-deaf these people can be (literally and figuratively.)

Again...when Reagan tried to sort of co-opt "Born In The USA" did he actually LISTEN to the lyrics?

Or anyone who things "Pink Houses" is really a Rah-Rah America song.

But seriously--YEAH GRETCHEN!

Considering how little use that ticket has for rights of any kind, it's no surprise that they're constantly misappropriating songs.

Hee hee.

Did you see the Hall & Oates parody they did on the Thursday night edition of SNL?
