Aside from the lack of shuttle service between MacArthur Bart and Kaiser on weekends (and one would assume holidays) there turns out to be a lack of taxi-cabs cruising the streets at about 10PM on a Sunday night

It IS way stressful to have uncertainty dogging your transportation situation, I totally agree. Glad you and Eduardo worked things out, and I hope things improve with Karaokeguy.

And now it turns out they're moving him today. As usual, I have no idea when it happens or where he's going.

The new place is nicer, but a farther cab ride from the office or the apartment. Still better than having to go to Oakland, however.

Boo to public transportation! With all the other stuff going home, it sucks that just getting to the hospital is such a pain in the ass.

And really, what else should you be focusing on? Like you said, can't say much more about what hubby is going through and the whole thing is so stressful anyway, you know? One day at a time, love, you'll get through it, you both will.
