My first poll-Kink or Squick?

I'm doing this because I'm nosy because I recently read a piece of fan-fiction that should have squicked me out to the point of nausea and eye-bleaching, but instead had me begging the author for more, more, more. Yes, one of the squicks involved is in the poll

Interesting poll, and results. One man's meat is another man's murder, I guess. Out of interest, what was the squick of which you wanted more? (ps - I didn't tick a squick because for some reason you left fluff and mpreg off the list).

Oh, very interesting poll. I'll be curious to keep tabs on the results. I ticked violence (outside of BDSM) as a squick, but it takes extreme violence to squick me. Minor violence (say, fistfighting) won't do it. But torture is a huge squick for me. But really, I have many more kinks than I have squicks. Not much squicks me, even if it's not a particular interest of mine.

I'm also curious to know what the fic squick was that inspired the poll!

You know, the other day I was looking at a fic challenge, trying to decide if I wanted to sign up, when I noticed that a lot of the prompts said "No PWP, BDSM, or non-con, please!" And I thought to myself, "geez, I think that's practically all I've ever written!" :p

Some of mine were contradictory. Apparently I think Mrs. Robinson is okay, but a Lolita scenario isn't. I never claimed to be logical.

At this point, I'd have to say that hate!sex is beyond a kink for me. More like an addiction.

you've reminded me of how few squicks I actually have.

When it comes right down to it, my major squick is mpreg, followed by parent/child incest and explicit rape. Non-explicit, meh.

I used to list as one of my major squicks heterosexual sibling incest (as opposed to homosexual sibling incest, which for some reason never bugged me [prolly all the twincest I read ...]) but when I saw Firefly I found myself with a strange draw towards non-explicit Simon/River incest, so I can't really say that anymore.

Also, I'm curious as well as to the squick of yours that inspired this poll.

I'll definitely include mpreg if there's a follow up. I came back to fanfic specifically because of my H/W love and since then I've gone down some mightly dark and strange fanfic roads.

I was talking to hubby about this last night and I was telling him how conflicted I was about the particular squick that inspired this. He was fairly nonchalant about the whole thing.
