Glee! Wash-solo and crazy euphemisms! I've never seen "rub-rub" either-- that's new. I imagine that if he's talking to his dinosaurs and contemplating the cosmos, he's on the bridge. And if Book can sneak up on him. Woo!

WHEW! I wasn't sure that was going to work at all, and I had no idea if "rub-rub" would be the least bit Wash-y, but I just couldn't see him being all coarse and graphic like some of the other fics.

Aww, Wash. So lovely. This is great, just the rights turns of phrase and Wash's tone is spot on. Firefly is really difficult to write for, but you did a really good job.
