Wooo, that was gorgeous! I was never that keen on RPS as a concept (apart from TG obviously, where they're just asking for it), but there's something about these two *points to icon*

Oh god, Johnny. That’s so good. So fucking good.

Philip’s voice. There was nothing like it. Caressing and rugged at the same time.

And that's where you really got me; I'm another sucker for affectionate diminutives (or whatever they're called) so I just loved this bit. And Philip's voice OMG, I just love that description.

I love the structure here, the way it's all in memory and flashback, and you've brought in Doctor Who as well, which I like. Of course, given the whole Doctor/Master dynamic, is there any chance of John/David with John/Phil going on in John's mind as well? (Sorry, I've no idea what you normally write.)

LOM and Sam/Gene were my introduction to fandom and slash, so it makes sense that Phil and John should be my RPS OTP. My recurring fantasy is of them actually coming out at an awards ceremony or something!

Thanks again for letting me know about this.

WHEW! So glad you liked. I really was NOT looking for yet another RPS pairing to write. (I already write Hugh Laurie/Robert Sean Leanard, John Barrowman/David Tennant and punditslash,) but I swear there's something about John Simm and Philip Glenister that was irresistible.

And seriously, Philip's voice? Mrrrrow.

So thanks for your support to my initial posting and thank you for reading and commenting on the story. I'm new to the LOM fandom and it means a lot to me.
