Oh joy, oh rapture…

Day 1 of a PTO week devoted to self-care and over-all maintenance.
Started with Yoga and an eye-exam. (Not at the same time.)
I’ve ordered new glasses with a beefed up prescription, but it looks like I also need cataract surgery. I’ve known this was coming for awhile; but hoped to avoid it a little longer. However, I am coming up on the big 6-0 and we’re getting to a point where the corrective lenses can only do so much.
I’ve got a referral to a cataract surgery guy and the first open date for an appointment is June 12. This is just for the guy to dilate my eyes and figure out if the eye doctor who did my exam today-including dilation-got it right.
Staying grateful for my job, my health insurance and my HSA.
