Glad to know I wasn't the only one livid with that ep. For me, it was how shitty women were being written.

Happy to say that the next year got better and I went back to watching it. Soooo glad Moffet is now out the door.

I had almost the same conversation with Hubby this time around, where he honestly didn't see it as an abortion metaphor and I still couldn't believe that it could be read as anything but.

Chiming in late here (oh, and Happy Birthday!) but the moon ep was when I threw in the towel. I may have watching another ep but that was IT for me. But I began watching again with Bill. I think the Doctor with Bill is very good. Upward and onwards! (Or something like that. LOL)

There was some great stuff in the rest of the Clara episodes, but Bill is lovely and I sort of applaud Moffatt for essentially rebooting the whole series. I'm annoyed that the series 9 and 10 discs haven't included the Christmas episodes and Megaupload et al seems to be a thing of the past. MAYBE good old BBC America will show them around that time of the year and I can catch the one with River Song. Also still waiting for availability on the second half of series 10.

I realize Moff didn't write Kill The Moon, but he signed off and it was so very very bad...probably the worst of his whole time as showrunner...and up there with the worst of RTD, which is saying something.

Having a lovely, relaxing abstinent birthday. Doing what I do. Yoga in the AM and I'll be at a meeting tonight.

Do you mean The Husbands of River Song? I loved it so much I bought the DVD, they sold it separately. :)
