I understand your feelings perfectly. For several weeks after my surgery, I needed a huge amount of support. With my pain and general physical helplessness, and B's work pressure and lack of sleep, we got pretty snarky with each other. It's hard when you're both stressed and needy.
It's good that you wrote this out, posted or not. I hope it's helped.
How did the bone broth turn out, by the way? Do you cook with it, or just slurp it?
Luckily my virtual training period is over. Starting with some logistical stuff on Monday, we're basically at the airport from now until the opening. So he has the apartment to himself during the day and I'm not housebound anymore. Better for all concerned.
Bone broth is excellent, although the first batch is a bit bland in taste and requires a bit of sea salt for palatability. Sometimes I slurp plain and sometimes with some veggies. For hubby, I've served it with mushrooms and also incorporated it into leftovers to create a rich soup.
I have the sequel brewing right now, which is a poultry based broth and I've gone heavier on the onion and garlic component so it will be interesting to see how that affects the taste, once all the solids are strained out.
Luckily poultry bones break down faster, so it should be done later tonight....although I just realized I forgot the vinegar...hope it's not too late.
