Staying with the mid-70's for another show with a great theme song and a charismatic leading actor who turned out to have a lot of demons, although it appears that Mr. Blake's self-destructiveness eventually hurt other people more than himself.

This is one I never saw, not even sure it aired here, though it likely did. But I think I've seen Blake in other things, and of course more recently we heard about his issues. But yeah. No memories of either good or bad things here, at least show wise.

It possibly may not have due to the violence issue. Of course in retrospect the "violence" that was railed about in shows like Baretta or Starsky and Hutch is hilariously mild compared to what happens on shows now with nary a blink.

It was really popular for those few seasons. I'm actually surprised to see it didn't last longer...not sure how much was ratings, how much was the violence backlash and how much was people not wanting to deal with Robert Blake and his issues/ego.
