ZOMG! That is just...wow! This one hits a lot closer than Whitney. Whitney was ubiquitous in the mid 80's, but I was never that crazy about any individual songs. Donna was my childhood and early teens almost every one of her hits is amazing.

Totally. Co-worker asked me which was my favorite Donna Summer song and I basically went through everything from the first greatest hits album plus No More Tears. MAYBE Sunset People gets the nod, but I really adore the whole sequence of Bad Girls/Hot Stuff/Sunset People. Oh the 70's, how I miss you.

I think the 70s was overshadowed by the 60s for a while. But yes, her voice was wonderful and her music. I also loved She Works Hard For The Money - it meant a lot to certain people at that time in my life too.
