I really loved the episode :D I watched it with a friend as soon as we could dl it on Sunday and we had to pause it at least 10 times to squee or back it up to try to make out what they were saying?!(Did you have any trouble understanding the actual words (like the dialogue sounding muffled verses accent issues or anything like that)? I kept turning my tuner up more and more)...
Anyway :) It was amazing all over I thought and even if there are nitpicks for it still fantastic television <3 and I agree Mycroft was mad love!! (do you have any incest fic to recommend? :D I haven't read any in this fandom and after this episode I can kinda see it too... >_>)
Personally I wasn't a fan of the last 60 seconds :/ I mean letting Irene live = fantastic :D Irene was an amazing character and I thought they did a fantastic representation of her as a strong female character and a nice foil to Sherlock -- but that he was *there* to save her felt so... cliched fanfiction honestly!! I kept thinking WTF? I wish there had been a better way to have her continue on than that (as in she was able to outsmart people or make herself valuable in another way out there!)
Also I really liked that Sherlock let himself be duped by her with the code! It was nice to see Sherlock being human and fallible in an all to common way :)
I'm glad to see you are enjoying it <3 are you thinking you'll write some fanfic for it beyond your drabbles you did last year? :)
